Originating in French Polynesia, Monoi is created by slow maceration of Gardenia Taitensis (locally known as the tiare flower) in the finest quality Cocos Nuciferas (coconut oil). Indigenous to Tahiti and not found anywhere else, genuine Monoi is protected worldwide by an appellation d'origine designation. Only this French decree No. 92-340 product is used in Perfect Balance formulations.

Rich in vitamins, anti-oxidants, anti-fungal and anti-septic properties, Monoi helps to heal rough or damaged skin providing protection from sun, water and wind.
